What is Computer?

COMPUTER

Computer is an electronic device. By computer, any information or data is prepared efficiently by the instructions. Rather than tell about the usefulness of the computer, we can briefly say that life is not possible without a computer in today's.

School College Hospital nowadays computer is being used at all places. In the beginning, people think computers are very secret, some people are scared of it but it is easy to run. The computer deals with hard-to-difficult tasks too easily if you learn slowly, you will easily understand.

Types of computer

By the way, there are types of computers but some special computers are as follows.

1. Personal computer

Personal computers are mainly of two types :-

(i) Desktop computer

These computers are often used in homes shops, schools etc. They are kept on the table so they are called desktop computers. You can see it in the picture.......

(ii) Laptop Computers

Laptop computers are powered by battery You can charge the battery by electricity, its battery is rechargeable.

Well laptop computers and desktop computers work the same way but desktop computers are cheap and laptop computers are costly.

(b) Software
                                                 By the way, the computer has 2 parts, the first hardware and another software.
Hardware are the parts you can touch with hands.

                                      Software is a series of instructions that makes any hardware work. The hardware without the software is incomplete.

(i) Input Device
(ii) Output Device
 
 (i) Input Device :-  Input devices also come in devices that help us to store any data in the computer's memory.
(a) Keyboard :-

(b) Mouse :-       There is an input device through which the pointer that runs on the screen is run.that you can see in the picture......

(ii) Output Device :- In the output device, the device comes with the help of which the data process in the computer reaches us, the most important device is monitors .

(a) Moniter :-  Moniter is an output device.It's a device that looks like a TV. The work done with the help of an input device appears on the monitor after the process is processed in the CPU.
There is a button on the side of the monitor to turn it off. Apart from this there are more buttons that control monitor color and brightness.

(b) CPU [Central Prossesing Unit] :- It is a box shaped like a box that contains many tools, such as IC, transistors, etc. These devices transmit data from the input device to the monitor.
The CPU is the brain of the computer.

Parts of Software

There are mainly two types of software :-

(i) System Software : It comes under the software that comes handy to run the computer, it makes different companies, the main operating system is the Microsoft operating system.
Microsoft's Windows XP is a very good and popular system software.

(ii) Application Software : System software consists of software that a user uses to perform a particular task.
like — M.S.Word, M.S.Excel, Notpad, Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrater, etc.
